Kurt has over fifteen years' experience in public practice, specialising in Business Advisory, Taxation and Superannuation. Kurt's background includes pivotal roles within Big 4, second tier and boutique firms.
Kurt's qualifications include:
- Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia
- Tax Institute of Australia Chartered Tax Adviser
- Bachelor of Business (Accounting and Finance and Banking)
- Diploma in Paralegal
- Registered Tax Agent
Kurt's strength is his ability to provide a complete and diversified range of services to all clients, including:
- Taxation compliance and advisory
- Accounting compliance
- Superannuation
- Business advisory
Kurt continues to play an integral role within the Chartered Accountants' program. During the past eight years, Kurt has mentored students, presented and facilitated focus sessions, and marked exams for the following modules:
- Taxation
- Management Accounting and Analysis
- Financial Reporting
- Ethics and Business Analysis
In addition to this, Kurt presents the "Master Classes" for Queensland in Taxation, and Ethics and Business Analysis.
In Kurt's spare time, he follows all sports, likes to fish and spend time in Ballina where he grew up. Kurt enjoys spending time with his wife, Jodi and their two children, Alexanda and Oliver.
